Wool Painting ~ Celtic Trinity Knot, wool roving on wool backing. 8” x 8” Project size. Frame option, add $20.

Using wisps of wool roving, needle-felting tools and special techniques, you 'paint' with wool. There are two project choices: 1) a Celtic Trinity Knot, or 2) an impressionistic landscape (sunrise/sunset/flower fields). All supplies, tools and instruction are provided to complete one 8" x 8" piece.  You can purchase a frame for $20, or, finish it as a pillow or patch for a garment. Options for additional embellishment/finishing offered in a subsequent class. Samples available in the sanctuary. $45 fee/2 hrs.

We hope you will thoroughly enjoy your time with us at the beautiful Urban Sanctuary.  While we have set a 2-hour estimated time frame for this class, you may finish sooner, or take longer.  We will work with you for up to 3 hours on this project.  After that, we will need to schedule a subsequent class at $15/hr.  

We have a hospitality area for coffee, tea, water and light snacks.  You are, however, welcome to bring your own snacks and/or a beverage of your choice.  Please keep in mind that you will be working with sharp, barbed needles.  Everything will be provided for your project, but there will be some supplies available for sale should you want to pursue this activity on your own.  We look forward to creating with you.
