Ahhhh…Lavender time!

Lavender time is here!

Summer is such a rich time of harvest in the glorious Pacific Northwest! We love to preserve the treasures for as long as we can so as to reap the benefits when the harvest has long faded. Join us for some July treats featured during our 4th of July weekend Celebration of Freedom event. (July 3-5, 11am - 7pm)

***Sign up for a class to make a Lavender Sachet Pocket, or order one made for you. Bring in a pocket from one of your jeans or a family/friends jeans or use one of ours, and embellish it with threads, beads, buttons, ribbon, etc. (all supplies and materials provided for class.) Local lavender from Nickie's garden &/or local fields. Tuck a sachet of lavender buds in the pocket for year round herbal benefits of relaxation, moth repellent, and lovely fragrance. Hang on a door or drawer knob, or place in your lingerie or sweater drawer.

Makes a particularly thoughtful gift from your/a special person's jeans, especially if you've traveled with them through life for a while! (Check with them before you cut the pocket out of the back of their jeans, please!!!)

***Some of our smudge sticks will be available for sale, with instructions on use. The cedar and lavender are from Nickie's home. These ingredients are typically chosen for their healing, cleansing and relaxing properties. Laurie Westlund Hugdahl from Firmly Planted Wellness and Yoga Faith is the master tie-er of these lovely bundles...they are available in a variety of sizes. More will become available at Urban Sanctuary throughout the summer, as long as supplies last.

We are grateful to have such bounty to share with you!

Blessings to all . . .
