Regarding this evening of Prayer ~ YogaFaith Restorative Class (1 hour), held on the labyrinth, followed by a SoundBath (15-20mins), followed by an optional Labyrinth Walk @8pm until walkers are done ~ the fee will be reduced to a suggested offering of $30. As is always our policy, if cost is an issue, please do not let that prevent you from joining us. For your optimal comfort, we do need to know how many to accommodate, as our space is quite limited. We thank you for understanding.

All offerings at Urban Sanctuary require either an appointment and/or registration at least 24 hours prior to any offering. This allows us to offer you our full attention and help you have a truly personalized experience. Our space is constantly re-created for specific uses, whether a yoga class, a meditation session, an artistic expression activity or a myriad other uses. We can comfortably host approximately 8 people which allows for the activity plus some hospitality (coffee, tea, light snacks, etc.). We hope you will love coming here, and come often to refresh you mind, body, spirit and soul.

Hello Friends of the Sanctuary, including those yet to be made,

 We hope this message finds you in good health and spirits.  We are so grateful for all the support we have received over the past year and a half; we are so grateful for each one of you! We, at beautiful Urban Sanctuary, are excited to offer you some new opportunities to grow in your spiritual life and to find more peace in your daily life.   We offer you tools to reduce anxiety and stress and refill the well you so generously withdraw from when you serve others.

This year we are adding options to enrich our already fabulous YogaFaith classes with Laurie, on Wednesday evenings. In December, we started introducing SoundBaths, with our beautiful crystal singing bowls, on a trial basis.  This was directly following class, and they have been very well received and anticipated.  We will be offering this combination often, beginning mid-Feb. – Apr. 

Child’s pose, with supports of pillows, bolsters, blocks and/or blankets ensure you can stay comfortable for an extended period of time. You may want to bring your own -or- use ours.

The key to making it such a wonderful experience is a smooth transition.  We ask that if you attend these YogaFaith + SoundBath classes that you do remain for the SoundBath as we will transition from our yoga resting pose into deeper relaxation through the singing bowls.  Leaving after yoga will disturb that silent transition for others.  You may want to bring an extra blanket and pillow for this ~ think: taking a lovely nap ~ resting in the arms of Jesus, or a beloved other!

Our beautiful crystal singing bowls bathe you in rich sound, into deep peace and rest. There are no worries or anxieties here!

 There will be a third option – adding a Labyrinth. Yoga will be done on the labyrinth, followed by a SoundBath, followed by a Labyrinth walk.  When this is offered you can register for just the YogaFaith + SoundBath portion, or add the Labyrinth Walk.  Following the SoundBath, we will remove all the yoga mats, blankets and pillows from labyrinth, then ready it for walking.

It is a unique combination of spiritual practices not offered together anywhere else that I am aware of . . . especially not with the particular labyrinth that is offered . . . designed and hand-painted by the owner. All these offerings have a basis in our Christian Scriptures and faith, as well many other wisdom traditions.  We welcome you in Peace.  You deserve to treat yourself to this sacred time, set apart, to refill the well you so deeply and often withdraw from as you serve others. 

After a Restorative YogaFaith Class followed by a soothing SoundBath, you may walk the labyrinth while the singing bowls once, again bathe you in lovey sound.

I know this might seem confusing at first, but to help simplify things, we have priced each component at $15.  You can pick and choose, but the YogaFaith + SoundBath combination must remain a package.  Once you experience this, you will understand.

Here are your choices:

YogaFaith Only Class ~ $15 Fee (1 hour)

YogaFaith GENTLE FLOW Class + SoundBath  ~ $30 Fee … (1 hour, 15 mins. You must commit to both offerings.)

YogaFaith RESTORATIVE Class + SoundBath  ~ $30 Fee … (1 hour, 15 mins. You must commit to both offerings.)

YogaFaith + SoundBath + Labyrinth Walk** ~ $45 Fee (@ 2 hours – the walk follows the 1 hour, 15 mins. class)
**When this is offered you may omit the Labyrinth Walk option, and leave after the SoundBath, - just register for just the YogaFaith + SoundBath option together, committing to both ~ $30 Fee.

***SoundBaths will not be available in May, except for the last week. We will reassess demand and make adjustments to June’s Schedule, depending on client preferences.  You get to be the judge.

SoundBaths for individuals or groups may be scheduled by appointment and vary in time and price. Please contact the Sanctuary for details.

Finally, I’ve saved this treat for last ~ we will be introducing punch cards.  After the purchase of any 10 of our offerings (a YogaFaith Class, a SoundBath, or a Labyrinth Walk) you will receive one free offering of your choice, to be used by June 1st.  For example if you attend one YogaFaith Class + SoundBath + Labyrinth Walk, you will get 3 punches, and be on your way to a freebie. 

Featuring our new Punch Card. After 10 paid visits, you will receive a gift of a free YogaFaith Class, SoundBath, or Labyrinth Walk component of your choice. Value of $15 (No cash value). Must be used within 6 months of initial use and for a scheduled Sanctuary calendar offering.

We are also instituting a class cancellation policy, effective January 24th.

“If for some reason you need to cancel a class, we will be more than glad to apply your payment to another class. We will issue you a punch card representing how many options you paid for (for example if you registered for a YogaFaith Class with SoundBath, paid $30, were unable to make the class, you would get 2 punches on a card good for $30 toward future scheduled offerings. If you are unable to redeem them within 6 months of your original purchase date, we will retain the funds and put them into our scholarship funds for those enduring financial hardship.”
