Gratitude Ceremony (Despacho - “to send”) with SoundBath

We are offering another Despacho (Gratitude) Ceremony. Our New Year's Eve ceremony was so meaningful and beautiful, there was a clear desire by the participants to do this again/more often.

So, with February being the “month of love”, it seems only fitting that we show our gratitude to our loving Creator for all that we are blessed with.

My daughter-in-law is Chinese, and, therefore my grandchildren share this ancestry, and, for them, I am incredibly grateful! We lived in Japan while serving in the military and had the blessing of experiencing a similar celebration there, complete with parades and festivals. There is something about standing at a threshold - no matter the “what” or culture - it is always a good time to pause, reflect, and, give thanks.

Whether you joined us for New Year’s Eve, or missed that event, we invite you to this very special opportunity to reflect upon the blessings and events of the past year, be present and grateful for what is now, and, even express gratitude for what is to come. Cynthia Maloney, Coach and Consultant, will help facilitate a Despacho (to send) Ceremony for us, from a Christ-centered approach. It is a beautiful way to help you focus on the things for which you are grateful.

Even though this will be a month and 1/2 into the Gregorian New Year, we offer you a safe space and time to consider hidden blessings among ‘the weeds and thorns’. Journey with us, as we all navigate the past year, the present moment, and future possibilities through this meaningful experience, together.

There will be time for forming intention, prayers, scriptural inspiration, meditation, reflection, journaling and a mandala offering of gratitude.

It is a rich ceremony during a sacred passing of one year to another. This will be the year of the Dragon - a time to reflect upon your courage and strengths.

Our hand-crafted Crystal Singing Bowls will provide a lovely SoundBath during a portion of the ceremony.

Once we are assembled, a sign on the door will note: “In Session ~ Please Do Not Disturb”. We strive to keep interruptions from disrupting the experience for the participants, so please be a little early.

NOTE: Anyone with medical conditions of epilepsy or seizures, or anyone with implanted metal devices (pacemaker or bolts, screws, plates from surgery) need be aware that the Singing Bowls create a mild vibration that may interfere with your condition. Please let us know if you have any of these concerns.
