Prayer Beads from Various Wisdom Traditions

Most Wisdom Traditions have used some sort of prayer bead or tactile counting method to help keep track of prayers. We will learn about this one marvelous way that we have ‘something in common’ with one another, and can form an appreciation for those of other faith traditions. You will then have time to create your own version that speaks to you and helps you remember to pray. All tools, materials and supplies will be provided. Reservations are required. Cost is $30, but a scholarship may be available.

Once you have registered, please contact me via phone or email so we can discuss your choice of colors/birthstones, etc. I will set aside all necessary components for either your choice of a set of prayer beads, as well as your own personal workstation. I look forward to helping you create this special addition to your prayer time. Additional kits will be available for purchase to make at home, or you can order them personalized from me.

This is a workshop. Depending upon your skill level and how many are in class, you may finish before 4pm, or it may take you longer. I will help you finish, even if you have to come back another time.
